My Kid Review

I love Kimberley Payne’s heart that comes through in this journal for children. You can tell by what she has written that she has a real desire to help children personalize Scripture. Her prompts guide children in how to make the passage personal as well as helping children think about how they can apply the passage to their lives. Parents and caregivers will appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into the writing of this journal.

Since this is a journal it probably isn’t appropriate for a K-12 Christian school library. But it would be a great addition to classroom instruction or homeschool instruction.
