My Kid Review

There is a lot to like about PAWS-itive Inspirations. The authors have included information about 90 different dog breeds and tied each breed to a Biblical concept.
Each devotional includes: information about the dog group, size, origin, as well as a devotional, Scripture passage, and things to think about. There is also a realistic picture of the dog breed represented in each devotional.
PAWS-itive Inspirations would have use as a family, classroom, or personal devotion book. It would also have some use as a reference book about the different dog breeds. I found myself flipping through the pages to find a particular breed. I’m sure kids would do the same.
I don’t normally recommend devotional books for a K-12 Christian school library, but I do think PAWS-itive Inspirations could find a place due to the non fiction information about dogs that is included. I received a complimentary copy of PAWS-itive Inspirations. This is my honest review.

Michelle Medlock Adams is an award-winning author of over 100 books with close to four million books sold, including her best-selling What Is . . .? board book series.
