My Kid Review
As with her other journals for kids, Payne shows a real passion for the heart of children. I found there to be a little bit of confusion as to the grade level this book was appropriate for – on the one hand it appears to be for the very young with number tracing practice, yet on the other hand some of the prompts are designed for older elementary children. The book might be used for little ones with them practicing their numbers but an adult filling in the blanks. For older kiddos they could skip the tracing if that feels too “young” for them. I do like the prompts she uses and the design of the pages. I’m sure parents and children can find a way to use this gratitude journal as part of their devotional time.
Since this is a journal it probably isn’t appropriate for a K-12 Christian school library. But it would be a great addition to classroom instruction or homeschool instruction.
I received a complimentary copy of 1-2-3 Count Your Blessings With Me. This is my honest review.
