My Kid Review

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen many books about caring for the earth that are written from a Biblical perspective. Abigail and the Waterfall changes that.

This delightful book tells the story of a family’s hike to a waterfall. The parents talk about how to protect the environment throughout the story. Sandra Richter tells the story in a way that is not didactic. I can see this book becoming a family favorite.

Michale Corsini did a great job with the illustrations. I love how he incorporated Scripture passages and the name of the wildlife into his pictures. His illustrations go beyond the text and tell some of the story.

Abigail and the Waterfall would make a great addition to the picture book section of a K-12 Christian school library. It is appropriate for preschool through early elementary ages.

I received a complimentary copy of Abigail and the Waterfall. This is my honest review.
