My Kid Review

Many kids grow up hearing “money doesn’t grow on trees.” Financial Advisor Anthony Delauney has written a kid’s story based on the concept of money growing on trees. The ultimate theme of the story is that it is better to work for your money than to have it handed to you. The story teaches this concept in a way young children can understand.

Chiara Civati shows a lot of diversity in her illustrations – she used many different skin tones for the characters.

Michael and Hannah and the Magic Money Tree would be a good addition to the picture book section of a k-12 Christian school library. It is appropriate for early elementary students. I could also see it being used in a middle or high school personal finance class.

I received a complimentary copy of Michael and Hannah and the Magic Money Tree. This is my honest review.
