My Kid Review
Pete the Cat is a well-loved book character. Pete the Kitty’s Cozy Christmas is a cute board book for the younger siblings of those Pete the Cat fans. Since babies are tactile, it is nice that each two-page spread has something to touch and feel. Since Pete the Kitty is young, it is also nice that Mom Cat (or another adult) is present on almost every page.
The illustrations are consistent with the other Pete the Cat books I have seen, so children will be familiar with the characters in the book.
Because Pete the Kitty’s Cozy Christmas is a board book, it is not appropriate for a K-12 Christian school library. However, it is appropriate for Christian daycare facilities as long as those facilities are okay with Santa.
I received a complimentary copy of Pete the Kitty’s Cozy Christmas. This is my honest review.
