My Kid Review

Kindness is a trait that many need to learn and all need to exhibit. Race to Kindness is a great reminder of that fact. Orion Jean includes many ideas to help kids be kind to those around them. He used the acronym:

K – keep your eyes open

I – Include others

N – Nothing is too small

D – Do something about it

Parents and teachers will find this book helpful when teaching children about being kind.

Carshika Varma’s pictures compliment the text well. They include a diverse group of characters in regard to age, ethnicity, and ability.

Race to Kindness would be a great addition to a K-12 Christian school library. It is appropriate for preschool and early elementary – aged children.

I received a complimentary copy of Race to Kindness. This is my honest review.
