My Kid Review

At first glance Wimee Creates with Vehicles and Colors is a very simple book. But the further I read in the book the more excited I became about its possibilities in the classroom or for homeschooling. 

The book can be used to teach: colors, vehicles, nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, alliteration, and more. It could also be used as a model for children writing their own sentences and stories. 

It is quite evident that Stephanie Kammeraad understands how children learn. While her text is simple it is engaging and provides many ways for children to get involved in the text. 

Michael Hyacinthe and Kevin Kameraad created colorful illustrations that compliment the text. The illustrations give children an illustration of the text which will assist parents and teachers in teaching the children colors and vehicles and more. 

Wimee Creates with Vehicles and Colors would be a great addition to the picture book section of a K-12 Christian school library. It has uses at many elementary levels, in an ESL situation and possibly even middle school English.
