My Kid Review

It can be hard for younger children to learn about and understand money. In Wimee Learns About Money a popular PBS character and his friends teach children about money – what it is, what it is used for, and how to get some. Stephanie Kammeraad tells the story in a way simple enough for preschoolers and early elementary-aged children to understand. 

The book ends with a “nonfiction” section of more facts about money which would be useful even to older children. 

The colorful illustrations are cute and match the style of the graphics on the  television program. They compliment the text well. 

Wimee Learns About Money would be a great addition to the picture book section of a K-12 Christian school library.
