My Kid Review

Over 40 stories in Faithful Friends  introduce young readers to almost 50 Bible characters they may or may not know. Author Michael Kelleher used Hebrews 11 as his inspiration for the Bible characters included in this Bible story book. The retellings are Biblically accurate which Christian parents will appreciate. 

Each story is illustrated with a picture of a doll created by Marcy Kelleher. The dolls are adorable and are a unique way to illustrate the stories. 

Each 2-page spread includes a picture of the doll representing the character(s), the Scripture passage where the story is found, a verse representing the story, and a re-telling of the Bible story. 

Faithful Friends could find a place in a K-12 Christian school library – especially if you include Bible story books in your collection. The book is appropriate as a read aloud for younger children or a read alone for older elementary children. It could become a favorite family storybook.
