My Kid Review

Kimberley Payne has written a devotional to help elementary-aged children learn how to manage money.

Each devotional includes a story, questions to think about, a lesson from the Bible, a drawing prompt, a prayer, and a verse to memorize. 

The book includes some thoughtful activities for children to put what they have learned into practice. The book ends with a leader’s guide, making this a good devotional for a group setting. There are six devotionals or lessons included, so it could be used for a 6-week session with one devotional/lesson a week. 

Because this devotional book is meant to be written in, I would not include it in a K-12 Christian school library. However, it would make a good family or class devotional, with each child having their own copy.
