My Kid Review

Strong  is part of a series of board books by the creators of The Jesus Storybook Bible. Sally Lloyd-Jones and illustrator Jago have crafted a beautiful adaptation of Psalm 1 for the littlest of children. While it is a board book, even primary-aged children will learn from it.

I appreciate the variety of trees portrayed in the illustrations. Psalm 1 is written in language that children can understand.

Strong would make a great addition to a Bible lesson for young children. It would also be a good book for bedtime.

Since it is a board book, K-12 Christian school librarians will need to make a decision on including it in their library. I did not include board books but might have made an exception for Stong since it is so beautifully done. It could be used as an example with older children as to how to illustrate a passage from Scripture.

I received a complimentary copy of Strong. This is my honest review.
