My MS Review

Many (most) have a difficult time navigating the pre-teen years. Brittany Rust seeks to make the path a little easier with her book of 52 devotions for pre-teen girls. Because this could be the first time a tween has used a devotional book, Rust starts with some tips on how to use the book which may be of benefit to her readers.

The devotionals are easy to understand and include a Scripture passage, a devotional reading, questions to consider and a prayer. Topics cover many of the things tweens deal with: faith, relationships, character, identity and more. I love how, no matter the topic, Rust points her reader to God for the answers.

Because this is a book of devotions, I’m not sure it has a place in a K-12 Christian school library. However, it is appropriate for an individual, family, or girls group.

I received a complementary copy. This is my honest review.
